Taxi Transfers To and From Anchorage Airport

Taxi cabs and rideshare services are available at our South and North terminals. The pickup location for rideshare services (such as Uber and Lyft) is on Level 2 outside Ticketing.

A free airport shuttle takes passengers between the South (Domestic) Terminal, Employee Parking Lot, and Rental Car Facility every 15 minutes.

Shuttle service from the North (International) Terminal is available on-demand.

A dedicated telephone line will connect you directly with shuttle dispatch for this service. Please call for assistance using the designated wall-mounted phone adjacent to the curbside SE end exit door.

Taxis at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

Taxis at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport are white with yellow stripes running along their sides. They are the only vehicles allowed to use the airport's pickup and drop-off lanes located at the terminals.

Passengers can hail a taxi from one of the many stands located around the airport or call for one in advance.

A one-way fare from the airport to downtown Anchorage is about $25.

South Terminal: The taxi queue is located on Level 1 just outside Baggage Claim, across from Door 3.

North Terminal: The taxi queue is located outside, across from Door 2.

Rideshare Services at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

All rideshare pickup services (such as Uber and Lyft) are located on Level 2, Ticketing. Coordinate with your driver to agree upon the door number where they will pick you up.

Hotel Shuttle Services at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport offers various hotel shuttle services to make your stay more convenient. These services are available to guests at all major hotels in the area.

Several hotels offer complimentary shuttle services to and from ANC. Contact your hotel directly to inquire. The airport's hotel-shuttle pickup location is outside Baggage Claim on Level 1.
